Blackjack Games: How to Play Triple ShotTriple Shot is one of those card games based in the ever popular blackjack. It is played with a standard 52-card deck and is commonly played in Las Vegas gambling houses. It bears resemblance to the game known as Three-Way Action. In Triple Shot, you will play three games: blackjack, casino war and poker. Each of these games may have its own wagering limits and sizes. Players of Triple Shot must play at least two of the three games. Triple Shot Play Before the start of any game, players must put their bets on the table. Then the dealer takes turns dealing each player one card facing up. Casino War Now the dealer compares their up card with everyone else's. Any player who has a higher-scoring card than the dealer gets paid. There is no real tie here. A tie costs the player half of their bet. The house advantage here is about 3%. Blackjack After casino war, the game turns to blackjack. Each player is now dealt a second card, also face up. The dealer gets one hole (face down) card. The game is played like blackjack. Players try to get the highest score without going past 21. A natural blackjack pays 3 to 2 for the player. If a player is able to draw for a total of 6 cards without busting, they win immediately. This is known as a "Six Card Charlie." The six cards drawn will be used in the next round, poker. So the player must take that into account when drawing cards. In Triple Shot blackjack, players may double down on their first two cards. But they may split only aces. If aces are split, each new hand gets only one extra card with no further splitting allowed. The house advantage in this phase of Triple Shot is less than 0.5%. Poker The next and final stage is the Triple Shot version of poker. Every player including the dealer who has not received 6 cards total will be dealt additional cards to make their 6-card poker hand. Players who already had that many cards in the blackjack round will not be dealt any more cards. The dealer will then compare their hand with each of the players' hands and pay out or collect accordingly. The house edge here ranges from about 3% to almost 6%. These are the rules of Triple Shot. As poker players must know, it is a "mixed game" type like HORSE poker. |
